Malacca MMA Club a.k.a Underdogs MMA Academy is the First and One & Only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) academy in the historic city of Malacca!

 

Founded by professional MMA fighter, Mohd Fouzein "The Underdog", Underdogs MMA was first built to accomodate Fouzein's own training camp without having to travel to Kuala Lumpur, the heart of Malaysia. Fouzein's fame in the Malaysian MMA community came by when he stepped in as a replacement in less than 24 hours at ONE Fighting Championship : Roar of Tigers facing a tough opponent who was more than 10kg heavier than him. Fouzein showed the world what kind of warrior true Malaccans are. Since then we have grown to be a strong force in the Malaysian MMA community and providing elite Mixed Martial Arts training to the people of Malacca. Holding a BJJ blue belt himself, Fouzein runs the only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programme in Malacca and to complete his gym's MMA prgramme, he collobarated with Muay Thai & Kickboxing experts at Sharks Muay Thai to bring us the best striking programme available in Malaysia. Our gym has trained many aspiring fighters and gymrats, whether to seek glory in the boxing ring or to achieve their fitness goals and we aim to continue to do so in the years to come. 

We are the only combat sports school in Malacca to offer Brazilian Jiu-jitsu classes in both Gi & No-Gi. We also offer Muay Thai, MMA and Capoeira classes! Check out our timetable in the CLASSES section!
